Sickbay is the main medical center aboard the USS Alba. Sickbay is presided over by the Chief Medical Officer supported by various doctors and nurses. The area is also used for certain analyses of new lifeforms and for developing treatments for unknown diseases or illnesses. When rendering aid to a stricken planet or spacecraft, the sickbay staff treat and care for the wounded.

*Note: Under no circumstances must any first aid procedure be performed by unqualified individuals, and professional help must be sought in serious cases.

Aboard the Sovereign-class USS Alba sickbay wards can be found on Deck 8. Sovereign-class sickbays are equipped with an EMH.
